Now We have Quantitative CRP test

CRP

CRP is a non-specific acute phase protein that is naturally present in very small amounts in healthy individuals
and its concentration increases rapidly and usually in less than twenty-four hours in various types of inflammation such as bacterial infections,
tissue damage and postoperative infections. Measuring CRP concentration is a suitable parameter for identifying
and controlling the treatment of infectious diseases, acute rheumatism, intestinal and gastric inflammation.
CRP test is a more sensitive and faster indicator for diagnosing acute phase infections and inflammations
than ESR and its use is also a suitable indicator for diagnosing the recovery process.
